A Rochester man is going to prison after admitting to holding up six Rochester area stores over the course of a month last winter.
Lavon Wims pleaded guilty today to six counts of Hobbs Act robbery for his role in robbing a fast food restaurant, a liquor store and four convince stores between December 2018 and January 2019.
Federal Prosecutors say in each case Wims threatened a store employee with a weapon and stole cash from the register.
He faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced in November.
