A judge has ruled the Village of Pittsford must pay the legal fees for the residents fighting a proposed apartment development along the Erie Canal.
The judge had previously ruled the Village violated the state Open Meeting Law while considering the project -- known as Westport Crossing.
In July, the Village board reissued permits and a regulation plan for the project.
