The Section V executive committee is expected to meet this week to consider an appeal on behalf of East High football player Seven McGee.
The school is challenging the ruling last week declaring McGee is ineligible to play this year.
McGee is a junior and is considered the top running back in the state. He transferred back to East this year after a brief transfer to a high school in California.
East High says it is seeking a waiver for McGee because the school in California has not provided the paperwork that would allow him to play.
