Wayne County Sheriff's deputies say a motorcyclist appears to have been illegally passing cars in a no passing zone before dying in a head-on crash.
It happened shortly after noon yesterday on Route 31 at Vienna Street.
Deputies say the motorcycle hit a car making a left turn from the oncoming lane.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. Deputies have not released the name.
