New Medal of Honor recipient David Bellavia will be honored in Batavia today.
He's set to receive a "Key to the City" during a ceremony this afternoon.
Bellavia was given the Medal of Honor for his heroism during the Iraq War.
He helped save his platoon by providing cover for his fellow soldiers to escape. The men had become trapped while clearing buildings in Fallujah in 2004. Bellavia is also credited with killing insurgents.
