The Monroe County Republican Committee officially has a new permanent Chairman.
At a special meeting Thursday evening Acting Chairman Bill Napier was elected as Chairman by a unanimous decision.
Former chairman Bill Reilich stepped down last month.
Napier will serve the remainder of the current term which expires this fall, and will have to seek re-election.
