The deadline is fast approaching for New York state residents looking to attend a state college free of charge.
Residents have until August 15th to apply for the scholarship, which if they're qualified, would provide up to 55-hundred dollars in aid to attend a SUNY college.
To qualify, family income must be less than 125-thousand dollars.
Students need to complete at least 30 credits a year and agree to work in New York State for five years following graduation.
