Rochester police have charged a 33-year-old city man with vehicular assault and drunken driving after a pedestrian was struck yesterday in the 600 block of South Clinton Avenue. Police say Christopher Evans was located after he left the scene. The victim, a 48-year-old woman, is recovering at Strong Memorial Hospital.
