Work is starting today to remove the carousel at the former Medley Centre Mall and ship it to its new owner in China. The carousel sold for an undisclosed price to a private collector. It had been advertised this year at a price of $245,000. A crew will work to this week to dismantle the carousel and pack the thousands of pieces.
