Several important primary election campaigns are heading into the home stretch.
Republicans in Orleans County tomorrow will decide a primary for Sheriff between current undersheriff Chris Bourke and Rochester police Sergeant Brett Sobieraski.
Three incumbents and seven other candidates are running for four seats on the Rochester City school board. The winners will be unopposed in November.
There are four contested primaries for Rochester City Council.
And there are a number of primaries in County Legislative districts. In the 21st District, Democrats will choose between Rachel Barnhart and Victor Sanchez.
And registered members of the Independence Party in Monroe County will decide Tuesday whether Cheryl Dinolfo or Adam Bello get the party's ballot line in the fall election.
