The driver who was charged in connection with a deadly crash that killed a Greece woman in in Parma back in January, is admitting to the crime.
Thirty-one-year-old Matthew Magar, of Riga pleaded guilty today to aggravated vehicular homicide, and manslaughter among other charges.
Authorities had said he was driving drunk when he slammed his SUV into a car driven by 41-year-old Dilek Ogut at the corner of Clarkson-Parma Town Line Road and Parma Center Road. Authorities believe he was going between 90 and 105 MPH at the time of the crash.
A blood test showed his blood alcohol content was .34%, more than four times the legal limit.
Ogut died at the scene.
Magar is facing 7 and 1/3 to 22 years behind bars when he is sentenced later this month.
