Governor Cuomo is committing up to $300 million for infrastructure and economic development along Lake Ontario.
He was in town this morning to formally launch the work by his new REDI commission. REDI stands for "Resiliency and Economic Development Initiative".
He's also considering a liability lawsuit against the International Joint Commission that regulates the lake level.
Cuomo says his REDI commission will provide planners and technical assistance to local communities at state expense.
