Rochester Police say the man found dead in his home on Myrtle Street last week most likely died of natural causes.
The remains of 65-year-old Robert Hartman were found after 31-year-old Jason Brown crashed Hartman's car on Route 390 at Ridge Road on Friday. Officer's found the car belonged to Hartman and went to talk to him, but found him dead. They said he'd been dead for "a bit of time."
The Major Crimes Unit is still investigating and a final report on Hartman's cause of death is waiting for a toxicology report to be completed.
Brown has been charged with driving without a license, driving while on drugs and leaving the scene of an accident.
