The National Weather Service has issued a Lakeshore Flood Watch for Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Northern Cayuga and Oswego Counties.
The weather service says this is for Sunday evening through Tuesday afternoon....when moderate to strong northwest winds may bring waves spilling over the shoreline, especially in bays, ponds and inlets. Shoreline residents are advised to take action to protect their properties.
