Federal prosecutors say a 33-year-old Irondeqoit man has been charged with producing child pronography involving young children.
Logan Nedo turned himself in to Brighton Police after family and friends discovered he had sexually abused two children who had been left in his care. Brighton turned Nedo over to Irondequoit Police after their investigation showed the alleged abuse mainly took place in Irondequoit. Nedo has already been arrested on state charges involving sexually abusing those children.
Police found during their investigation that Nedo had videoed the abuse, and turned that evidence over to the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force. The FBI found both video and photos of the abuse, and 2,500 other unrelated images of child pornography.
Nedo is being held without bail pending a detention hearing in federal court.
