The U.S. Attorney has scheduled an afternoon news conference to announce significant developments in two separate prosecutions. According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, the developments will be of interest to both the Buffalo and Rochester areas.
There are reports that WNY Developer Bob Morgan has arrived at the federal building in Buffalo, where he and the CFO of his company -- Michael Tremeti -- reportedly will make an initial court appearance on federal charges.
Last week, the former Chief Operating Officer at Morgan Communities, Scott Cresswell, pleaded guilty to insurance fraud and implicated Morgan.
Earlier this year, there were guilty pleas from Morgan's nephew, Kevin, and a Buffalo mortgage broker who secured financing for Morgan properties.
Federal agents searched Morgan's Perinton offices last May.
