A man was airlifted to the hospital Thursday morning after his truck slammed into a tree in Marion. The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on Jagger Road near Smith Road in Marion. Firefighters say the driver needed to be pulled from the truck. No one else was in the vehicle at the time.The man was taken to Strong Hospital by Mercy Flight.
