Another person has died from the flu in Monroe County this season.
According to the latest numbers from the Monroe County Health Department, 21 people have died as a result of the flu, all of whom were 50 or older.
As of April 27th, there were more than 5,900 lab confirmed cases of the flu, and 1,001 hospitalizations. Last week, the New York State Commissioner of Health announced that influenza was no longer prevalent in the State.
