The average price in the Rochester region for a gallon of regular gas has risen two more cents in the past week.
AAA says the average price is now $2.82. The statewide average is $2.89 -- exactly where it was this time last year.
Analysts say holiday travel last week helped push up demand. Prices are expected to peak around Memorial Day weekend.
