The Town Planning Board held a public hearing last night on the plan by developer Delaware River Solar. The company wants to lease land along Yellow Mills Road for more than 21-thousand solar panels.Critics say the proposed array is too big. Some say the land should be used strictly for agricultural purposes. Another public hearing is set for May. A board recommendation in favor of the project would touch off an environmental review process that could last the rest of the year.
