A lawyer for former Webster Schroeder Football Coach Kali Watkins argued in court today that the prosecution hasn't supplied a time or date that sexual abuse allegations against his client took place.
But prosecutor Meredith Vacca told reporters there's rarely a date in accusations of this kind. She said children often don’t report this kind of abuse until months or years later, and by then they may not remember exact dates.
Watkins is accused of having sex with a girl under 15-years-of-age in 2016 and 2017 when he was a special education teacher and the JV girls' basketball coach.
