A man is expected to be okay after he fell through the ice while rescuing his dog on Canandaigua Lake.
Firefighters say the trouble started Sunday when the man's dog had gotten loose near the State Marine Park boat launch, ran onto the ice and fell through.
The dog is okay, and the man was taken to the hospital shortly after.
