Gas Prices May Be Hitting Bottom

There are signs prices at the gas pumps may be hitting bottom. Triple A says the average price for a gallon of regular in the Rochester region dropped a penny to $2.41, while the statewide average was unchanged at $2.47. Prices nationwide are more than 20 cents lower than this time last year. Triple A says prices in many places saw a modest increase last week -- and that's likely due to supply concerns as refineries begin maintenance season. And milder weather this week could increase demand.
