Democrats meet this evening to decide on a preferred candidate for an open seat in the Monroe County Legislature.
The 21st District includes the Beechwood and North Winton Village neighborhoods, and two candidates are seeking the party's designation.
They are community activists Rachel Barnhart and Victor Sanchez.
Barnhart has lost three tries at elective office in the past three years. Sanchez has worked on campaigns for two of Barnhart's past rivals.
