A judge in Syracuse has set an April 1 trial date for former Rochester Judge Leticia Astacio.
Her trial on a felony gun charge was moved to Syracuse because of her lawyer's concern that publicity about her case in Rochester would make it difficult to find an impartial jury.
Astacio is accused of trying to buy a shotgun last year while on probation for her DWI conviction.
She is set for a hearing on pre-trial motions February 22.
