A Riga man has been arrested for vehicular homicide and other charges stemming from a fatal accident January 7 in Parma.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says Matthew Magar was driving drunk when his SUV failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Parma Center Road and Clarkson-Parma Townline Road. He struck another vehicle, killing the Greece woman who was driving -- 41-year-old Dilek Ogut.
Magar has been hospitalized ever since, and was arraigned yesterday. The other charges include Aggravated DWI, reckless driving and failure to stop.
