The state Legislature has passed a bill protecting transgender New Yorkers.
The Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act prohibits discrimination in employment, education or housing.
The Senate and Assembly also approved legislation banning the practice of conversion therapy. Governor Cuomo has said he'll sign both bills.
