The Ontario County Sheriff's Office believes snow covered roads and speed contributed to a fatal crash this morning.
Authorities say the crash happened on Outlet Road in the Town of Manchester around 5:30 a.m., when driver Jose Garcia-Rodriguez lost control and went off the road. His vehicle sheared off a utility pole then struck a number of pine trees.
Garcia-Rodriguez was taken to the hospital with serious chest injuries and was later pronounced dead.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
