Police Investigate Reported Abduction Attempt of Teenager in Geneva

Police in Geneva are alerting the public about a reported abduction attempt. The incident reportedly happened Monday afternoon. Police say a 13-year-old was walking home from school when a man got out of black Toyota Sienna and grabbed a child's hand. The incident happened in the area of Oak, High and Pulteney Streets. The teenager was able to get away and run to safety. Police say the suspect is described as being six feet fall, wearing a black hoodie and orange cloth work gloves. The minivan is described as having a large scratch or white mark on its front end. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Colton at the Geneva Police Department at 315-828-6779.
