UPDATE: Power has been restored in Livingston County.

A large scale power outage is being reported in Livingston County. The sheriff's office says RG&E had a possible station issue and crews are working to fix it.
As of 1:30 p.m. the Sheriff's Office says they had received word that RG&E is hard at work trying to restore power, and that it could take about two to three hours to get it back on. More than 6,000 customers have been impacted, according to the RG&E website.
The Sheriff's office says because a large portion of the county is out of power, drivers are reminded to drive safe and treat all stop lights as a 4 way stop.
