The working group appointed by Governor Cuomo to look at how to legalize and regulate marijuana has scheduled 15 listening sessions around the state to take public comments.
The evening sessions start next Wednesday in Albany and will include a session in Rochester on October 4, at a site to be determined.
A recent multi-agency study, led by the state Department of Health,concluded the positive effects of a regulated marijuana market in New York State outweigh the potential negative effects.
