Rochester, NY -- The man arrested in Rochester's latest homicide pleaded not guilty Wednesday to a second degree murder charge.
Greg Jesmer was arrested Tuesday for the stabbing death of 101-year-old neighbor Marcia Morrison. Court documents say she was stabbed repeatedly in the neck and upper body.
Police say Morrison was found dead at her apartment Tuesday morning at the Rochester Highlands complex, on Green Knolls Drive, off Westfall Road.
The break in the case came when a citizen in the area called 911 to report a man had offered money to a 13-year-old girl to come to his home. Police detained Jesmer, and he was linked to the homicide.
There is no word on a possible motive.
