Police say no one was hurt when a man trying to get away from police crashed a stolen car with a 2-year-old child in the backseat.
The chase started yesterday on Lyell Avenue when police spotted a Toyota Corolla reported stolen last week in Greece.
As a woman was putting the child in the backseat, the man saw police approaching, jumped in the car and drove off. Police say he crashed into a car on Lake Avenue, and was caught after a short foot chase.
Thirty-year-old Michael Jackson is being held without bail on charges including child endangerment; possession of stolen property, leaving the scene of a crash and traffic violations.
