Jury deliberations are underway in the corruption retrial of former New York State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos and his son after the jury was handed the case this morning.
Prosecutors allege Skelos and his son Adam pressured several companies into paying his son for no show jobs in exchange for political favors.
Skelos admitted there were bogus jobs but said it was never in exchange for votes.
They were originally convicted of bribery and extortion but the verdict was tossed after the Supreme Court narrowed the definition of political corruption.
