One person was injured in a stabbing in Sodus Point on Wednesday. According to Wayne County Sheriff's deputies, the incident happened around 4 p.m. in a "shallow section of water." According to deputies, there was an argument between two people that led to one being stabbed in the neck. The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. One suspect was taken into custody. Ozzman Garcia, 24, and Juan DeJesus, 19, were arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Obstruction of Governmental Administration. Jarvis Knight, 24, was also arrested for Disorderly Conduct. He was remanded to the Wayne County Jail. July 11 is an unofficial celebration called "Blow Off Day" in which the employees at local restaurants and businesses who had to work on the July 4 holiday take the day off and go boating. Organizers said this is in no way related to the celebration. There was an estimated 1,000 people in attendance.
