Woman Pleads Guilty in Fiery Wrong Way DWI Crash

A woman accused of driving drunk the wrong direction on Route 490 and causing a fiery crash has pleaded guilty.  Marissa Pecora, 27, was driving west in an eastbound lane on November 1 when her car slammed into a tractor trailer. The driver of the tractor trailer managed to escape before it became fully engulfed in flames. Pecora had also been arrested the previous January for DWI and aggravated DWI charges. Pecora pleaded guilty to the four-count indictment of Aggravated DWI, reckless driving and other charges. She was offered a one-year interim probation. According to the DA’s office if Pecora successfully completes the probation she will be sentenced to 6 months in the Monore County Jail and five years probation.
