More than 700 cyclists are traveling by bicycle on the Erie Canalway Trail from Buffalo to Albany to celebrate the Erie Canal Bicentennial.
It's the 20th annual 400-mile Cycle the Erie Canal tour. The cyclists left Medina this morning, will make a midday stop in Holley, and arrive this afternoon in Fairport for an overnight stay.
The trip was organized by the statewide nonprofit group Parks & Trails New York.
