Sheriff's deputies say a burglary this morning in Chili is connected to the recent rash of break-ins and thefts in the county's west side suburbs.
Deputies say three people were seen running into the woods after a burglary at a garage on Fisher Road. With some help from a police dog, all three were caught. The suspects were allegedly trying to steal dirt bikes.
Deputies have been investigating thefts of vehicles, ATVs and dirt bikes in Hilton, Parma, Gates and Chili. Two arrests were announced last month.
