A Rochester man is facing 25 years to life in state prison, after being convicted of killing his girlfriend.
The Monroe Co. DA’s office says a jury found Terry Williams guilty of second degree murder and criminal possession of stolen property in connection with the death of Cheryl Robinson.
Prosecutors say last July, Williams went to Robinson's apartment and gagged her by shoving a towel in her mouth, binding her hands and ankles, and wrapping a gag around her mouth, head and feet.
Authorities say Robinson was left there for weeks, and died of asphyxiation. Her body was later discovered by Rochester Police officers.
Williams is scheduled to be sentenced in July.
