A man and woman from Seneca Falls have entered not guilty pleas to charges in the death of the woman's 3-year-old son.
Alison Bovio, and her husband Donald, and accused of fatally beating her son Peter Stephandies-Vacchino. The boy died this month after they reported he fell down a flight of stairs. Doctors determined his injuries were not consistent with a fall.
Cash bail for both has been set at $400,000. The charges include murder and manslaughter. A pre-trial motions hearing for Donald Bovio is set for August 14. Prosecutors say the family moved to Seneca Falls from Massachusetts earlier this year.
