A 74-year-old Penfield woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a car on Monday night. Investigators said the victim was in the crosswalk on Willow Pond Way in Penfield when she was struck. The woman sustained multiple injuries and was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital. Deputies said the 48-year-old driver was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in crosswalk. Deputies said drugs and alcohol were not contributing factors in the crash.
