Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo is apparently still on the short list of possible Republican candidates for lieutenant governor.
The party's likely nominee for governor, Marc Molinaro, confirmed yesterday Dinolfo could be his running mate -- saying in a radio interview "She's a wonderful leader, really. I'm very impressed."
Dinolfo has been serving on his search committee, but has not made a definitive statement about her own possible candidacy. The Republican Party state convention opens on Wednesday.
