UPDATE: Investigators say a missing 15-day-old child has been found safe.
An Amber Alert has been issued after police say a baby was abducted this morning near the southern end of Seneca Lake.
Gionnna Harter is a 2-week-old baby girl, with short black hair, weighing about 9 pounds.
The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office says she was taken from an address in Montour Falls, NY around 5 a.m. by 31-year-old Katrina Harter. She is described as a black female who is about 5-foot-3, weighing around 330 pounds.
The Suspect was last seen on North Exchange Street in Geneva.
Police believe that baby is in imminent danger of serious physical injury and/or death.
