The Rochester Red Wings are following the lead of Major League Baseball and adding more safety netting to protect fans from foul balls.
Netting is being added in the next few weeks to protect the seats behind the dugouts at Frontier Field. It's expected to be in place by the homestand that starts May 3rd.
The team says the new netting will resemble the current backstop, which provides much better visibility that what was in place before 2016.
