A Wayne County man has pleaded guilty to a murder charge in the fatal stabbing of his ex-girlfriend in Sodus.
David Knight-Hollis will serve a 20-year prison sentence. He had no statement at the plea hearing. He admitted slashing the throat of 17-year-old Alyssa Taft in November when she refused to resume their relationship.
In court today, her mother called him "vicious" and said her hopes and dreams for her daughter are gone.
