Syracuse, N.Y. - It appears the Orange will be playing some post-season home games as the bubble bursts leaving Syracuse out of the NCAA Tournament.

Playing in the NIT Isn’t new for the Orange over the last two decades. Syracuse has been in the NIT in 1997, 2002, 2007 and 2008.

The Orange finished the regular season with an 18-14 record and were one of the more contested bubble teams heading into tournament week. The Orange didn’t help their chances when they lost to Miami 62-57 in the first round of the ACC Tournament. The Orange also didn't prove they were able to win on the road despite posting some impressive Top 10 Wins at the Dome.

The Orange should expect to hear their name called when the NIT announces its teams later Sunday night.
