This is video from the store camera inside Henrietta Hots. It was taken at 2 a.m. on the Fourth of July. The civilian is identified as Ryan Conklin of Webster. He has claimed that he was arrested in this incident for exercising his First Amendment right to free speech. After approaching the deputies and loudly demanding to know why they were on lunch instead of our patrolling, he was ultimately taken into custody, held for two hours and charged with disorderly conduct. He says he was kidnapped and imprisoned. Mr. Conklin sells adult novelties on the Internet and has praised anti-police activists on one of his Facebook pages, including advising people to show the middle finger to all police they see. On another, Death Row Art Show, he glorifies serial killers.
