Final: Steelers 19, Bills 16

Aside from the interception of EJ Manuel by Ryan Shazier, the Bills 1st offense possessed the ball well but still couldn't get the ball into the end zone. The Bills 1st team is yet to score a touchdown in their 3 preseason games. They only mustered 6 points playing the entire 1st half.

Sammy Watkins left the game on the first drive after suffering a rib injury. He never returned to the game. Ian Rappaport of NFL Network is reporting that the injury isn't considered serious.

Considering a rather frustrating night for the Bills offense, that's some positive news for that side of the football.

Manuel did finish the game going 17/27 for 148 yards and that one interception.

The Bills 1st team defense settled down after giving up a couple of early touchdown drives to Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers offense. Antonio Brown had a 74 yard TD catch on their 1st drive of the game. Markus Wheaton caught a TD on a fantastic throw by Big Ben for the Steelers 2nd TD.

The Bills one touchdown came on a 1 yard leap by Anthony "Boobie" Dixon.

In the battle for the backup QB job: Thad Lewis was 1/6 for 18 yards and an INT

Jeff Tuel was 5/9 for 48 yards and the fumble that set up the Steelers game winning FG
