The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says an 8-year-old girl from the Rochester area drowned in a pool at the Residence Inn on Jefferson Road in Henrietta Saturday night. It happened around 8:35 p.m. Deputies said the victim, Jamielath Kabba, was swimming with three other children when she went underwater in the deep end. She was located eleven minutes later. A man performed CPR on Kabba. She was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Officials said they are still looking into the incident but they do not anticipate any charges to be made.Deputies are still investigating and reviewing survelliance footage.
