Judges in Albany Considering Licensing More Marijuana Producers

Judges in Albany are considering whether to license more marijuana producers across the state.

Attorneys argued for nearly two hours yesterday claiming the licensing of ten production companies defies a state law that only allows five registered organizations.

The New York Medical Cannabis Industry Association sued the state in April hoping to stop the expansion of registered organizations.  The association claims the supply outweighs the demand.
